The Jewish Student Union is a program beneficiary of support from the following institutions:
JSU is the premier in-school, informal-educational program run by NCSY. Founded in 1954, NCSY develops a passion for Judaism in Jewish youth. A global leader in teen inspiration, NCSY connects, inspires and empowers 24,000+ teens annually in more than 244 communities and in over 200 cities throughout the United States and Canada, as well as in Chile, Argentina, and Israel.
The Jewish Student Union culture club expansion to high schools in the San Francisco Bay is generously funded by The Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Initiative (Teen Initiative), a project of the Federation, in partnership with Jewish Federation and The Jewish Community Foundation of the East Bay, and with support from the Jim Joseph Foundation. JSU is designed to increase the participation of teens in Jewish experiences during their high school years.
